How Hotel Leisure Club Fobs Work
Each fob is assigned a unique number or electronic identifier.
When the member taps or presents the fob to a compatible reader, your system checks the identifier against the member’s account. If the membership is active and the member has the correct access permissions, the system allows entry.
The exact process depends on the software and access equipment used by your hotel.
A typical process is:
- The fob is programmed or registered to a member.
- The member presents the fob to a reader.
- The reader sends the fob number to the system.
- The system checks the membership status.
