Printing Options
Personalisation depends on the material selected.
Wooden and bamboo cards are usually laser engraved for a natural, permanent finish. Engraving works best for simple logos, clear text, icons and QR codes. Colour printing may also be available for more detailed branding, while foil stamping or screen printing can be used for selected designs. Natural grain and colour variations should be expected.
Bio PVC and recycled PVC cards can be printed much like standard plastic cards. They support full-colour artwork, detailed logos, photographs, QR codes, barcodes and sequential numbering. Printing is available on one or both sides, with optional finishes depending on the card type.
A digital artwork proof is supplied before production. Wood and bamboo may differ slightly from the proof because every card has its own natural grain and shade.

Wood Finish
Wooden hotel cards have a warm, natural appearance with visible grain and slight colour variation from card to card. They work especially well for boutique hotels, country properties, spas and resorts.
Wood can be laser engraved for a simple, premium finish
Bamboo Finish
Bamboo cards have a lighter, cleaner appearance than many wooden cards. The surface is smooth, but the natural grain remains visible.
They suit hotels looking for a modern, understated eco option. Bamboo can be engraved or printed.
Bio PVC Finish
Bio PVC looks and feels much like a traditional plastic hotel key card. It has a smooth, consistent surface that is ideal for detailed full-colour printing.
Recycled PVC Finish
Recycled PVC also has a smooth plastic finish and supports detailed artwork, brand colours, QR codes and double-sided printing.

Personalisation Options for Eco Hotel Key Cards
The personalisation options available depend on the card material you choose.
Recycled PVC and Bio PVC cards can be personalised in much the same way as traditional plastic cards. Their smooth surface is suitable for detailed full-colour printing, precise brand colours, photographs, QR codes, barcodes and guest information. They can also be printed on one or both sides and supplied with compatible contactless chips or magnetic stripes. These materials are the best choice when you want an eco-focused card without changing the familiar look of a standard hotel key card.
Wooden and bamboo cards have a more natural appearance and usually require a simpler design approach. Laser engraving is a popular option because it creates a permanent, understated finish that works well for hotel names, logos, icons and short instructions. Colour printing may also be available for designs that require several colours or more detail.
The natural grain of wood and bamboo remains visible, so colours may appear slightly different from traditional PVC printing. Small variations in shade and texture should also be expected from card to card. This is part of the natural appearance rather than a printing fault.
Simple logos, clear lines and larger text generally produce the best results on engraved cards. Very small text, photographs and complex colour gradients are better suited to recycled PVC or Bio PVC.
